North Coast Wine Store Robbed at Gunpoint

A man wearing a ski mask robbed the North Coast Beer and Wine store Monday morning. 

The man pointed a gun at the cashier and demanded money from the register at around 8:30 a.m. Monday, before getting away on a bike.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The robber made off with an unreported amount of cash, riding a bicycle away from the scene.

Capt. Ed Hassing, of the Lakewood Police Department, said there is no surveillance video available, however the case is “under investigation.”

“There is not a good description of the suspect at this time,” Hassing said.
