Police recover stolen car, arrest suspect for receiving stolen property: Lakewood Police Blotter (cleveland.com) — Lakewood police recently recovered a car reported stolen out of Cleveland and arrested a suspect on a receiving stolen property charge. Officers also handled several late-night OVI cases and a license plate theft on familiar streets like Clifton, Detroit, Warren, and Lake avenues, highlighting ongoing safety and traffic enforcement around town.
   

2. Oak Glen's Watkins comes away with Austintown title (morningjournalnews.com) — Lakewood High’s girls wrestlers made a strong showing at the Austintown Fitch Tournament, with Riley Robertson and El Tha both winning individual titles and the team finishing ninth overall. The event drew dozens of schools from across Ohio, highlighting Lakewood’s competitiveness in a rapidly growing girls wrestling field.
   

3. North Canton apartments sold for $3M (indeonline.com) — A Lakewood-based company, JBH Saka Holdings Ohio LLC, has purchased 31 residential properties in Canton as part of a $1.59 million deal, according to Stark County real estate records. The transfers, covering Dec. 6–12, also include a $3 million sale of North Canton’s Hilltop Apartments and several other high-value commercial, residential, and farmland transactions across the county.
   

4. Wanted woman carrying meth & wanted man arrested on Bagley Road in Middleburg Heights (cleveland.com) — Two Lakewood residents riding in an SUV were stopped in Middleburg Heights, where police discovered outstanding warrants and suspected narcotics. The Lakewood man was wanted by Medina County authorities, while the Lakewood woman was cited for a traffic violation as officers investigated possible methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia found in the vehicle.
