Pedestrian Killed Crossing Street In Lakewood: Police
A woman was hit by a truck while crossing W. 117th near Clifton Boulevard, police said.
LAKEWOOD, OH — A woman was hit and killed while crossing W. 117th Street on Monday afternoon.
At 4 p.m., 911 callers reported a pedestrian was hit by a car at the Clifton Boulevard-W. 117th intersection. When Lakewood police and EMS arrived, they found a woman who had been hit by a truck.
The woman was declared dead at the accident, police said. Her identity is not being released until her family has been contacted.

The driver of the truck remained at the scene after the accident.

Investigation into the accident is ongoing. No arrests have been made and no charges have been filed, a police spokesperson said.
