Possible Threat Made Toward Lakewood High, Police Investigating
The high school was placed on lockdown this morning, but that has since been lifted, a school spokesperson said.

LAKEWOOD, OH β Police are investigating a possible threat made toward Lakewood High School on Monday.
Lakewood Police Chief Kevin Kaucheck confirmed to Patch that officers are at the high school investigating. He did not discuss the nature of the threat.
Lakewood High was put in lockdown this morning, but that has since been lifted, said Christine Gordillo, a Lakewood Schools spokesperson.

"No students or staff were ever in danger. Students were in lockdown, which means taking cover in the classroom. Modified lockdown means learning continues in the classroom but no one goes in the hallway," she told Patch in an email.
Officers swept the building and took one student into custody, she added.
