Public Meeting Scheduled To Hear Proposals For Former Lakewood Hospital Property
The field of potential developers has been narrowed down to two. A public meeting has been scheduled to hear what their initial plans are.

LAKEWOOD, OH β Two development partners are still being considered for the redevelopment of the nearly 6-acres in the former Lakewood Hospital location and the public will get an opportunity to see and hear what their initial proposals are.
A joint Planning Commission and Architectural Board of Review meeting is scheduled for July 25 at 6:30 p.m. at Lakewood City Hall auditorium. There will be opportunities to ask questions and offer input regarding the selection of the development partner.
Getting to this meeting has been a challenging two-year journey fraught with lawsuits and contentious battles at the ballot box. Now that those obstacles are in the rear-view mirror, the City of Lakewood been on track and moving forward with the plan announced back in February.
