Unidentified Dead Body Found At Lakewood Park
Police are trying to identify the body of a man found dead at Lakewood Park on Saturday night.
LAKEWOOD, OH — A dead body was found on the rock at Lakewood Park, police announced Sunday.
At 7 p.m. on Saturday, the U.S. Coast Guard received a report of a body in the waters of Lake Erie. Lakewood police and fire were asked to respond to investigate.
The body of a middle-aged Black man was found int he water, in a cove at the northeast end of the park. There was no identification on the man or in the surrounding area, police said.

Investigators believe the man was approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighed between 150 and 170 pounds. He appeared to be in his 40s or 50. He had a mustache and a goatee. He was wearing a T-shirt that said, "That Rich Life," on the front.
The investigation is on-going.
