Veterans Day Ceremony To Be Held At Lakewood Park On Thursday
This year's keynote speaker is a 2011 inductee to the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame.

LAKEWOOD, OH — The annual Veterans Day Ceremony will be held at Thursday at Lakewood Park.
The event starts at 11 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial, 14532 Lake Avenue. The Four Vet Quartet will perform the National Anthem after the Presentation of Colors.
This year's program will also include performances by the Lakewood High School Band and a 21-gun salute by the Joint Veterans Honor Guard. There will be coffee and doughnuts after the ceremony.

Sean Ennis will be this year's keynote speaker. He was inducted into the Ohio Veterans Hall of Fame in 2011.

Ennis was born in 1947 in Pennsylvania, while his father was being treated for wounds he suffered in Europe. His family moved to Brooklyn, New York when Ennis was 11 days old. Ennis moved to Cleveland in 1977.
He enlisted in the Army in 1965, working with the Army Security Agency until April 1969. He served tours in Vietnam, Korea and Thailand.
Ennis then graduated from Youngstown State University in 1973 and took a job working for the government, as a civilian. He worked for the IRS and then the Department of Veterans Affairs. He retired from government service in 2006.
Ennis was also a Commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars District 7 and Post 2533 in Cleveland. He remains active with the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 15, the Joint Veterans Honor Guard, Honor Flight Cleveland and the Airport Ambassador program at Cleveland Hopkins Airport.
