Volunteers Needed for LCAC’s Spring Cleaning Supplies Distribution

Lakewood Charitable Assistance Corporation, aka "the food drive people" are collecting cleaning supplies and hygiene items.

LAKEWOOD, OH β€” Lakewood Charitable Assistance Corporation, aka β€œthe food drive people” switches gears every May to help provide cleaning supplies and hygiene items for Lakewood families and seniors in need. This year LCAC is expanding their drive to assist 250 households. The spring cleaning donations are especially appreciated by recipients because cleaning supplies and toiletries are expensive and not covered under the WIC program.

Volunteers of all ages are always welcome at LCAC events! Join us on Saturday, May 13th to help sort and deliver these much needed cleaning supplies to Lakewood families and seniors. The Spring Cleaning Distribution event will begin at 9am in the rear parking lot of the Masonic Temple.

Come rain or shine! Gathering with neighbors to help friends in Lakewood is what community is all about.
