West Side Yoga Closes, Cleveland Pickle to Open Second Location

Often in Lakewood, when one business closes another quickly moves in to take the spot.

It’s sort of a pickle.

That’s exactly the case at 17100 Detroit Avenue.

West Side Yoga recently closed its doors, however a popular Cleveland sandwich shop is expected to open in its place.

Cleveland Pickle — with its first location in downtown Cleveland — is expected to wrap up renovations in time for a Nov. 1 opening, according to a post in the Cleveland Scene.

Cleveland Pickle owner Josh Kabat told Cleveland Scene that the 1,600-square-foot space will provide him with plenty of room — helpful for future expansion plans.

Kabat and his fiance Kiaran Daley opened the original “restaurant disguised as a sandwich shop" almost a year-and-a-half ago near the corner of Euclid and E. 9th and has been "on a roll" ever since, reported the Scene.
