🌱 Wind Advisory Today In Cuyahoga + Lakewood High School Composting

Here are the top three stories in Lakewood today:

1. A wind advisory has been issued for Cuyahoga County and surrounding areas today. A high wind warning was issued for other counties in the state for 20-30 mph winds with gusts up to 60 mph. A warm front will move into the area today and bring the temperature up close to 60 degrees, but a cold front will move in midday. (WJW FOX 8 News Cleveland)
2. Lakewood High School is composting all the food waste from the district. The Ranger Cafe, the student-run restaurant, is composting food waste from all of the cafeterias, food science classes, and its restaurant. The plan is to expand the composting program to every building in the school district. (News 5 Cleveland WEWS)
3. The nearby Turkish Community of Cleveland is working to help those in Turkey and Syria after the area suffered a 7.8 magnitude earthquake. The Northeast Ohio nonprofit is collecting clothing to send to those in need affected by the earthquake.
