Woman Hits Daughterβs Boyfriend in the Head With a Hammer

Assault: A woman was arrested and charged with assault after she hit her daughterβs boyfriend in the head with a hammer in the 2000 block of Lewis Drive at around 1:30 a.m. June 26. The extent of the manβs injuries werenβt reported.
Robbery: A woman told police that two men stole her cell phone and ran south on W. 117th Street at around 8:40 p.m. June 26.
Burglary: A woman in apartment in the 11800 block of Edgewater Drive told police that someone entered her apartment and rifled through all of her drawers and cupboards on June 27. Nothing was reported stolen.

Paintball shooting? Police received a report that someone was shooting a paintball gun at homes and cars in the 1400 block of Orchard Grove Avenue at around 1:30 a.m. June 28. No damage was reported.
Take that inside: Police received a report of a man and woman engaged in βsexual activitiesβ outside of their home in the 2100 block of Wyandotte Avenue at around 2:15 a.m. June 28. The couple denied the report, warned and sent back inside.

Fireworks war: A resident in the 2030 block of Robin Street told police that neighbors were throwing fireworks at her home at around 5 p.m. June 28. Turns out, the neighbors have an ongoing feud of some sort.
Public drunkenness: A man was charged with public intoxication in the 13400 block of Detroit Avenue at around 11 p.m. June 29. He also had a warrant out for his arrest out of the Lakewood Police Department.
Burglary: A man returned to his home in the 2040 block of Robin Street and found that his TV had been stolen at around 12:15 a.m. June 30.
