Programs can cover insulation, furnace repairs, and crisis aid for disconnections or low fuel, plus year-round PIPP plans to keep monthly payments affordable for low-income residents.
   

• Trial begins for Lima man accused of shooting at his girlfriend (limaohio.com) — A criminal trial is underway for a Lima man accused of firing a gun at his girlfriend during an early-morning incident on July 4, with Lima Police responding to reports of shots fired on Greenlawn Avenue. Jurors heard 911 testimony from a dispatcher and detailed accounts from the woman involved and a nearby neighbor as prosecutors outlined multiple charges tied to the alleged shooting.
