In total, 17 projects across Ohio are expected to create more than 2,300 new positions and secure over 8,500 existing jobs, backed by more than $1.1 billion in investment and significant new payroll. 
• Firefighters rescue dog from frozen pond in London (abc6onyourside.com) — Firefighters with the City of London Fire Department rescued a dog that became stranded on a frozen pond in Madison County and took it to a vet, where it’s expected to recover. Officials are using the close call to warn London-area residents about unpredictable ice and to urge extra caution around frozen ponds, lakes, and waterways this winter.
