• Valley venues to showcase Ohio's movie connections (vindy.com) — Mansfield gets a spotlight next summer when “The Shawshank Redemption,” largely filmed at the former Mansfield Reformatory, is screened outdoors in Salem’s Waterworth Memorial Park on Aug. 1. It’s part of “Ohio Goes to the Movies,” a statewide series bringing more than 250 free screenings with Ohio film connections to all 88 counties through 2026.
