• Hubbard couple accused of abandoning nearly a dozen cats after being evicted (wfmj.com) — A rental home on 1st Street in Masury became the scene of an animal-cruelty investigation after 11 neglected cats were found inside, four of them dead. A Hubbard couple now faces multiple felony charges, while seven surviving cats are recovering and will soon be available for adoption. Neighbors are urged to report any signs of animal neglect or cruelty.
