A Dozen Mentor Companies Benefit From Incentive Grants
The city handed $1 million in incentives to companies in 2012

Last year was a busy — and generous — one for Mentor's economic development department.
Results of an annual report economic development director Ron Traub is preparing for the city show that the city provided Mentor Incentive and Economic Development grant payments to 12 companies who met requirements in 2012. The payments totaled more than $1 million.

- Confectionary Cupboard
The grants are meant to entice businesses to expand into Mentor and aid existing ones looking to make significant investments in machinery and/or personnel.
