Mentor Police arrested a man last week who was wanted for aggravated murder in a city 400 miles away.
According to the department's Facebook page, Andre Bridges Jr. had an aggravated murder warrant out for his arrest in North Chicago, Ill., where he is from. He turned himself into Mentor Police on June 6 through arrangements he made with a third party.
According to a Mentor Municipal Court document, Bridges, 28, was arraigned June 7 as a fugitive of justice. He awaits extradition back to Illinois.
