Familiarity Leads Mentor Police to Burglary Arrest
The victim of a burglary had a good idea who stole items from a Maple Street home

It took little time for Mentor Police to find the suspect of a recent burglary on Maple Street.
The resident called police on the night of April 20 to report several stolen items. According to the department's Facebook page, the victim had a hunch that acquaintances on Southwood Drive were the culprits.
An officer followed up on that lead, and saw the stolen items in plan view when a man answered the door. Police arrested 18-year-old Marcus Bliss and a juvenile male for the burglary.
