Man Accused Of Breaking Into Stranger's Apartment While Drunk
The man, who had a knife on him, thought the apartment belonged to his friend

A woman was sleeping on the couch in the living room of her when she awoke at 5 a.m. on Jan. 28 and saw a stranger looking at her, Mentor Police Lt. Ken Zbiegien said.
The man -- who is thought to be 39-year-old Lance Watson -- had busted through her locked front door and broken the door jamb, Zbiegien said.
She asked the man who he was and he asked where "Joey" was.

"Joey" is a friend of Watson's who lives in the same building but a different apartment as the victim, Zbiegien said.
Watson smelled of alcohol and had an unsteady gait, Zbiegien said. He was not wearing shoes.

The woman was scared and called for her boyfriend, who also lived in the apartment. Then she locked herself in the bathroom.
The boyfriend helped detain Watson until police arrived.
Police arrested Watson and found a folding knife with a 3 1/2-inch blade on him.
Watson, who lives in Chardon, was charged with burglary and a misdemeanor count of carrying a concealed weapon.
He is scheduled to have a hearing today in .
