A Mentor man is accused of stealing about 1,200 pounds of aluminum from his employer.
Andrew Doty, 31, was arraigned on a felony count of theft Thursday in .
He is accused of stealing $6,900 worth of metal from Hadrian Inc. and selling it for scrap, Mentor Police Lt. Ken Zbiegien said.

Hadrian makes toilet stalls and lockers. Doty is suspected of stealing about 450 pieces of aluminum from his former employer from August to October.
Judge John Trebets set Doty's bond at $3,000, which was posted.
