Man Accused of Trafficking Heroin in Mentor
Shannon Norris, who lives in Bedford, faces three counts of heroin trafficking

A Bedford man is accused of selling heroin in Mentor on three different occasions between the fall of 2011 and this January, according to court documents.
Shannon Norris, 28, was arraigned on three felony charges of heroin trafficking and one of possessing criminal tools Friday in .
Kayla Wenz, 20, of Mayfield Heights, was also arrested along with Norris. Police charged her with complicity to heroin trafficking, drug abuse and possession of drug abuse instruments.

Norris posted his $10,000 bond and was released from jail. His next court appearance is scheduled for Jan. 19.
If convicted on all four charges, Norris could face up to five years in prison.
