Man Accused Of Trafficking Percocet

Bruce Givens was arrested after trying to sell prescription drugs, according to police

A Mentor man is accused of trying to sell Percocet in the city, according to Mentor Police.

On Friday, an employee called police and told them a man offered to sell her prescription drugs, Sgt. Dan Molnar said.

Police responded to the area and found Bruce Givens, 54, who had a bag with five Percocet pills in it, Molnar said. The restaurant employee identified him as the man who approached her earlier.

Givens was arrested and charged with counts of possession and trafficking of drugs.

Givens was arraigned Monday morning in . Judge John Trebets released him on a personal bond.

Givens's next court appearance is scheduled for Dec. 29.
