Liz and Maggie became friends when they entered high school four years ago. They worked hard, played hard and even made time to do the things they love. They had no idea they would the be co-valedictorians for their class of 222 students, but they were excited when they found out.
"I had no idea I was going to be the valedictorian," Maggie laughed.

"We found out after the first semester that we had the highest GPAs in our class," Liz smiled.
Both girls agreed their favorite subject was math. Liz said she doesn't have a least favorite, but Maggie made sure to chime in that physics was hers. They agreed that high school was fun, but they're excited about the future.
"We had some really great opportunities here," they said. "But there are more opportunities to come. There's going to be, like, 20 times more in college."
Maggie worked hard to get into Notre Dame, which she said has a rigorous application, but it's been her dream to go since second grade. She is starting with pre-med classes, but doesn't know what she wants to specifically study.
Liz knew she wanted to attend OSU the moment she stepped on campus.
"I just really love the atmosphere," Liz said. "It's a lot like Lake's atmosphere."
After being inseparable for four years, the two will now live more than 200 miles apart. So how do they plan to stay in touch?
"Skype," they laughed in unison. "Facebook, texting, everything."
