Mentor Detectives Arrest Trio On Drug-Related Charges

Peter Meade and Taylor Adams are accused of trafficking Ecstasy and marijuana, respectively; Jacqulyn Beavers faces a charge of permitting drug abuse

Mentor Police arrested a trio of people on Friday who now face drug-related charges.

Peter Meade, 19, of Painesville, is accused of trafficking Ecstasy twice in the city of Mentor -- first on Feb. 27, then again on Friday, Mentor Police Lt. Tom Powers said.

He faces two counts of Ecstasy trafficking, one count of drug possession and a final count of possession of criminal tools. In this case, the "criminal tools" refer to a cell phone and a USB jump drive that police confiscated when he was arrested.
