• Portion of Buckeye Trail now takes new route through Mentor (news-herald.com) — A newly rerouted section of the Buckeye Trail now winds through Mentor Marsh, Mentor Lagoons, Civic Center Park, the Old Village District, and the Wildwood Cultural Center, giving residents and visitors easier access and more amenities. City officials and the Buckeye Trail Association say the change should boost tourism, local business traffic, and community pride, with a formal dedication planned in 2026.
