Mentor High Swimmer Has Broken 3 School Records

Even as a freshman, Maria Coy has etched her name into 's record book.

Maria won the 200-meter individual medley and 100-meter breaststroke while at the Northeast Conference Meet last week and set the school's record for both events, according to the Mentor Schools web site.

Earlier this season, she set the school record in the 500-meter freestyle.

Coy is preparing for the District Swimming and Diving Meet at Cleveland State in mid-February.
