The Mentor High School group is holding a Shred-Day event.

The Mentor High School National Honor Society will help shred documents for the community for free.

The Shred-Day event will be Saturday, May 11 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Carver Financial Services office at 7473 Center ST.

Only paper will be shredded and it can't have clips or binders.

Volunteers from NHS will help unload cars and all shredding will be done on-site to help protect from identity theft and to clean up unwanted documents and paper.
