Mentor Police Adding Second K-9 With Donations
Mentor Police K-9 Titan greeted Mentor City Council last night

Yaugher announced that the store donated $5,000 from its doggy rewards program to the Mentor Police Department to help buy and train a second K-9.
Mentor Police Chief Daniel Llewellyn thanked Yaugher, as well as the other people and organizations who have donated to the Mentor K-9 fund.

"We have a great program and it's because of donations," Llewellyn said.
The second K-9 will be added in early April. Patrolman Bill Mackey will be its handler.
Llewellyn added that Titan has already been an asset to the department.
"He has been valuable for drug enforcement and tracking purposes," he told Council.
