What’s a cryptid? Any creature that is claimed to exist but it hasn’t been proven. So children (ages seven to 12) can get in the Halloween spirit by painting a sasquatch, mothman, alien or the Loch Ness Monster during a special program at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 30, at our Main Branch.

Kids will also learn about the lore behind some of these infamous creatures and even enjoy some cryptid-themed treats.

Registration is required and opens two weeks before the program. Sign up online or by calling us at (440) 255-8811 ext. 221.
