Mentor Public Library Collects 1,000 Pounds Of Food For Charity
The library continues to collect food for local pantries during its Restock the Shelves campaign

has already collected about 1,000 pounds of food for local pantries and it isn't finished yet.
Patrons donated that much food during the library's Food for Fines program, which allowed people to bring canned food and, in return, they were forgiven for up to $5 in fines.
Additionally, people can still donate food to local pantries at any library branch.
