We’re offering two free ACT/SAT prep sessions this autumn. The first session is from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 18. Its focus will be on the math sections. The next session is Sept. 25. It will focus on the English and reading courses. You can register for both or either on our website.

Both sessions will provide practical experience in terms of the types of questions you’ll see and offer strategies for standardized tests, as well. All sessions will be led by Dr. John Foster, one of our reference librarians at Mentor Public Library. Foster has a doctorate in history from the University of Washington and has taught at both high school and college levels.

By the way, you can also use one of our digital services to help you prepare for your big test. LinkedIn Learning has online video courses about taking the ACT, PSAT and SAT. And it’s free to use with your Mentor Public Library card.
