Mentor Public Schools To Recognize Bronze Star, Mr. Football Winners
During its board meeting tonight, the Mentor Schools district will thank Purple Heart recipient Bob Zonneville and Mr. Football winner Mitch Trubisky
It's been a long time since Mentor man Bob Zonneville was a high school student.
But the will be recognized tonight by Mentor High School students at the district's Board of Education meeting.
The meeting begins 7 p.m. at the Mentor Public Schools administration building.

Zonneville was wounded twice while fighting in Europe.
Following the war, he worked as a professional truck driver, worked his way up the corporate ladder, and retired as a president of a subsidiary of Landstar Corp., a logistic company.

Also at the Board Meeting, the Board will recognize both the entire Mentor High football team for their 12-2 season and quarterback Mitch Trubisky for being named Mr. Football by the Associated Press of Ohio.
Trubisky shattered several Mentor records this year with 1,129 yards rushing, 4,065 yards passing and a total of 60 touchdowns. He also averaged more than 40 yards per punt.
For the three years Trubisky was quarterback -- he platooned his sophomore year -- he threw for 9,126 yards and 92 touchdowns.
