Photo Gallery: Broadmoor Students Take 'Great LEEP' For Science

The students studied everything from decomposition to how cell phones work for the second annual Great LEEP Science Fair at Broadmoor School

hosted the second annual Great Lake Education Experience Program (LEEP) Science Fair Tuesday morning.

Broadmoor students showed off their experiments, which demonstrated many aspects of science -- from electromagnets to decomposition, water pressure to minimizing impact by distributing force.

Twenty-two students, who ranged in age from 16 to 22, participated in the fair.

LEEP is a program for high-school aged students with developmental disabilities. It helps teach them vocational skills that allows them to live independently and transition from school to work.
