Police Looking For Crossdressing Crook

A man who disguised himself as a woman is accused of fraudulently using a credit card at Best Buy

Mentor and Brecksville Police Departments are looking for a man who disguised himself as a woman while committing credit card fraud.

On Nov. 30, a man dressed in women's clothing came to the in Mentor. He used a credit card that wasn't his to buy gift cards there, according to the Mentor Police Department's Facebook page.

Then, he returned to the store 40 minutes later dressed in men's clothing and used the gift cards to buy more than $900 worth of equipment.

The rightful owner of the credit card lives in Brecksville, Brecksville Det. David Hetrick said.

Anyone who can help identify the suspect is asked to call Hetrick at 440-526-8900 or Mentor Police Department at 440-974-5760.
