The Rock Hall adds six classic bands to its 2012 induction class

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has announced that it is adding six more classic bands to its 2012 induction class.
Those bands are The Blue Caps, Comets, Crickets, Famous Flames, Midnighters and Miracles, according to Newsnet 5.
In each case, the frontman for the group has already been inducted to the Hall of Fame: Gene Vincent for The Blue Cap; Bill Haley, the Comets; Buddy Holly, the Crickets; James Brown, the Famous Flames; Hank Ballard, the Midnighters; and Smokey Robinson, the Miracles.

These bands will join the previously announced induction class -- Beastie Boys, Donovan, Guns 'N Roses, Laura Nyro, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Small Faces/The Faces, Freddie King, Don Kirshner, Cosimo Matassa, Tom Dowd and Glyn Johns -- who will be added during the 27th Annual Induction Ceremony on April 14 in Cleveland.
The ceremony will air on HBO in early May.
