Ride for 9-11 Firefighters Come Through Northeast Ohio
Firefighters from California are cycling to New York City to honor victims of Sept. 11 for the 10th anniversary and passed through Northeast Ohio Tuesday

A bunch of thin, likely unshaven firefighters rode through and on their way into Tuesday as part of their efforts to mark the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks.
The firefighters cycled through Cuyahoga Falls and Stow to Kent. They spent the night in Kent before leaving this morning for Pittsburgh.
The riders left California July 24 with the goal of hitting New York in 45 days with stops in Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C., along the way. They plan to arrive in New York City on Sept. 9 and finish the ride at the FDNY Firefighters Wall. The full route can be traced here.
