It had been a few years since Lake Catholic High School hosted a talent show, and it showed through the audience's enthusiasm.
Whether a guitarist or rap group hit the stage, the crowd filled the auditorium with cheers Monday night. The show featured 15 performances that ranged from a Bruno Mars cover to a color guard routine to a touching tribute from junior Michelle Gaw, whose mother recently passed away.
Families got into the act, too. The Jones brothers, sophomore Kyle and junior Ian performed a humorous piano act, and the Brennan Singing Trio of sisters Rachel, Veronica and Emma finished the showcase with a song.
