What Are You Doing New Year's Eve?
Mentor offers a lot of fun ways to spend the final hours of 2011

Where/When: Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 31
Why Go: Ring in the new year 12 hours early with a noon ball drop and special kid-friendly activities the whole family can enjoy including a wild animal show, music, dancing, an ice-carving demonstration, costumed characters and more.

Pricing: Regular zoo rates -- $11 for adults, $8 for children, free for members and any child younger than 2

Why Go: All three rinks will be open for this special evening skate. Enjoy the music, skating and prizes.
