If you're looking for a place to get started, we've rounded up five fun things to do in the Oxford-Miami University area before the kids head back to school. Pro tip: Call ahead to confirm hours and access, stay hydrated, and if you're heading outdoors, bring plenty of SPF and bug spray!
1. Oxford Aquatic Center

2. Hueston Woods State Park

4. Goggin Ice Center

It may be summer, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the ice! This indoor ice skating facility at Miami University is open to the public every weekend, and families are more than welcome. Bring the kids to a local play to see a live performance at (or near) the Oxford Area Community Theatre. This group is no stranger to performances, as they’ve been putting on plays for over 35 years.
