• $15 million aviation center to expand opportunities for Butler Tech students, aid major workforce shortage (wcpo.com) — Middletown is getting a $15 million Butler Tech aviation center that will nearly double enrollment and bring cutting-edge classrooms, simulators, and an outdoor hangar to local high school students. Starting in January, the expanded program will add sophomores, grow from 80 to about 150 students, and help fill a serious regional shortage of pilots and aircraft mechanics while giving teens a head start on aviation careers.
