β€’ Cuts and changes coming for Tri-State school district to help address over $2M deficit (local12.com) β€” New Richmond school leaders have approved a state-required fiscal plan that cuts staff, raises sports pay-to-play fees to $300, and restructures services to close a projected $2.3 million deficit. The plan keeps the district afloat through 2028 but isn’t sustainable, and officials warn that without new tax support, future steps could include closing a school, shifting grades, and reducing transportation and mental health services.
