Letter: Community Invited to Learn About Stark County Oil and Gas Partnership
Letters to the editor may be emailed to Morgan.Day@patch.com

This letter was written by Dave Kirven, chairman of the Stark County Oil and Gas Partnership.
Stark County Oil and Gas Partnership is an alliance between local governments, chambers of commerce, labor, education, development groups and employment organizations, formed to promote a complete understanding of the oil and gas industry, promote oil and gas extraction efforts that are environmentally responsible and encourage the use of Stark County residents and businesses in the development, extraction and processing of oil and natural gas.
We are looking to assist companies as they move into Stark County and direct them to local services, organizations and businesses needed to make their move as seamless as possible. With our established infrastructure which includes, major interstate highways, access to rail, a neighboring airport, and an abundant supply of water, the partnership feels Stark County is the ideal location for any business.

Possibly our best asset is the educated and skilled workforce available and the training provided through our local colleges, the local building trades and local employment organizations which is geared specifically towards the oil and gas industry. If you are looking to expand or relocate your business, Choose Stark County.
Come and join us at our next Choose Stark County event on January 30th at the Canton Civic Center where we will be introducing our local businesses to existing and potential businesses in the oil and gas industry. Our event will start at 5 pm with an update on the oil and gas industry presence in Stark County and continue as a business to business networking opportunity.
