North Canton police arrested a 59-year-old Louisville man Saturday for theft

North Canton police arrested a 59-year-old Louisville man Saturday for reportedly stealing meat from the Washington Square Giant Eagle.
The man was charged with theft, a first-degree misdemeanor, after police said he stole $270 worth of meat.
He was booked into the Stark County Jail.

Officers also recovered a 2013 Chevrolet Impala that had been stolen from the 4000 block of Everhard Road in Jackson Township on Jan. 2. Jackson Township police impounded the car.
Police continue to investigate the incident.
