North Canton Man Convicted of Child Pornography

A 55-year-old North Canton man was sentenced Tuesday to serve eight years and one month in federal prison after pleading guilty to a felony charge. 

David Mariner pleaded guilty in March to receipt/distribution of visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. Investigators reportedly found child pornography on Mariner's laptop, according to The Canton Repository.  

Once out, he’ll be on supervised release for a decade.
