What's It Like To Be A Weatherman? NewsChannel 5 Meteorologist Dishes at Orchard Hill

Orchard Hill Intermediate students were let in on a little secret Wednesday.

They learned what it's like to be a weatherman.

Fourth grade teacher Brenda Triner, who sent in the attached photos and video clips to North Canton Patch, said the students learned about storms, weather forecasting and Nicholas' career as a TV weather forecaster.   

"The students had a wonderful time and really enjoyed learning about meteorology, the job of a television weather forecaster, storm chasing and severe weather," Triner told North Canton Patch.

Nicholas said in his NewsChannel 5 update that the students asked the challenges of forecasting in northern Ohio and what it's like to be a storm chaser.

"I am very proud of the students' good behavior and manners," Triner said. "They did a wonderful job of representing Orchard Hill Intermediate School."
