• Olmsted Falls fire department receives new $700,000 pumper fire truck (cleveland.com) — Olmsted Falls’ fire department has just taken delivery of a nearly $700,000 pumper truck that will boost onboard water capacity from 750 to 1,000 gallons, giving firefighters crucial extra minutes at structure fires. The truck still needs radios and about $60,000 in firefighter-recommended upgrades before going into service, and city leaders must soon decide whether to refurbish or sell the older 2004 pumper.
