• Buckeye Local music educator will appear in Rose Parade (heraldstaronline.com) — A national marching project honoring a former Pickerington Schools band director is helping send an Ohio music educator to the 2026 Rose Parade. Buckeye Local’s Stacey Soos will march with the Band Directors Marching Band, sponsored by the Michael D. Sewell Foundation, which commemorates the influential Pickerington band leader’s legacy in Central Ohio music education and community service.
   

• Falcons add two transfers and one signee to 2026 squad (bgfalconmedia.com) — A standout from Pickerington North High School, forward Olivia McCuen is joining Bowling Green State University’s women’s soccer program after a record-breaking high school career. She’s part of a three-player addition that also includes transfers from Michigan State and Iowa State, giving local fans a reason to follow BGSU’s 2026 season more closely.
