• Clinton County extends gas aggregation program through 2028 (wnewsj.com) — If you live in the Village of Sabina and use CenterPoint Energy, your natural gas aggregation rate is being locked at $0.6999 per ccf starting in January 2026 and running through May 2028. Clinton County commissioners extended the program with Archer Energy, aiming to give Sabina households more predictable gas bills for the next several years.
   

• Local volunteers brave cold for Wreaths Across America (wnewsj.com) — Local volunteers joined Sons of Union Veterans members to lay wreaths on veterans’ graves at Sabina Cemetery and other nearby cemeteries as part of Wreaths Across America. Despite freezing temperatures and snow, participants honored individual veterans by name and hope to expand sponsorships and volunteer support next year.
