Eye-Popping Gardens Centerpiece Of 9th Annual Gracious Gardens Of Shaker
The Shaker Historical Society has a weekend of garden-themeed events planned for June 15-16.

The Shaker Historical Society has planned a weekend of garden-themed events to celebrate the city's history and its lush gardens.
The 9th Annaul Gracious Gardens of Shaker Heights will take place June 15-16 and include events ranging from garden tours and a private garden party to a street fair featuring food, music, crafts and more.

Gracious Gardens Fair
- Where: Shaker Historical Society
- When: June 15, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; June 16, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Details: The fair is a new event this year, and will feature live bluegrass music, food trucks, antiques, beekeeping, organic herbs, perennials and rare trees and artisan crafts.
Twilight In The Garden Party
- Where: A private mansion in Shaker Heights
- When: June 15, 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.
- How Much: $150 for one ticket, includes the garden party and one tour ticket and is $100 tax deductible) $500 for two party tickets, four tour tickets and is $400 tax deductible. Tickets can be purchased here.
- Details: The party includes cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, Raise the Paddle, live music and dancing. Your support of this event and The Shaker Historical Society allows us preserve local culture and promote the history of our community through educational outreach, exhibits and events and programs that captivate, connect with and delight audiences of all ages. Garden Tours
- When: June 16, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Rain or Shine
- How Much: $20 advance tickets. Buy tickets here.
- Details: This year the Garden Tour will feature eight spectacular gardens located in the historic “Garden City of Shaker Heights” where 75 percent of Shaker Heights is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Visit inspiring gardens that are sure to give every guest great ideas to create their own garden paradise. Garden elements include swimming pools, pool houses, unusual plants, secret gardens and charming patios.
