• Ladies' Locker Rooms Receive Long-Overdue Makeovers (clubandresortbusiness.com) — Shaker Heights Country Club has completed a major, member-driven renovation of its long-outdated ladies’ locker room, adding family changing rooms, a quiet nursing space, and even a tucked-away remote-work area. The refreshed, spa-like design aims to better serve the club’s younger, family-focused membership and create a more inclusive, welcoming environment for women, teens, and parents alike.
   

• Lake Erie Ink's ‘Kitchen Fables' cookbook showcases Cleveland creatives of all ages (cleveland.com) — A Cleveland Heights writing nonprofit is drawing Shaker Heights neighbors into its newest community cookbook, thanks in part to a creative food-writing workshop held at Kiln in Shaker Heights with chef Doug Katz. The “Kitchen Fables” book blends recipes, poems, stories, and artwork from Greater Clevelanders and is now on sale at local bookstores, while Lake Erie Ink also invites teen submissions for its next anthology.
   

• Fordham, Rhode Island Collect Swimming and Diving Weekly Awards (atlantic10.com) — A Fordham University swimmer from Shaker Heights, freshman Quinn MacPhail, has been named the Atlantic 10 Men’s Rookie of the Week after winning both distance freestyle races in a recent tri-meet. The conference also honored Fordham diver David Vargas and Rhode Island’s Olivia Winslow for standout performances, highlighting strong showings across the league.
